McCann Health today was named to Ad Age’s 2019 “Best Places to Work” list, ranking ninth among all North American ad agencies, ad tech firms, media companies and marketing companies with more than 200 employees
PARSIPPANY, N.J., /PRNewswire/ -- McCann Health today was named to Ad Age’s 2019 “Best Places to Work” list, ranking ninth among all North American ad agencies, ad tech firms, media companies and marketing companies with more than 200 employees. McCann Health, which is based in Parsippany, N.J., is the first and only healthcare marketing firm in New Jersey selected for this prestigious ranking of workplace environments since Ad Age initially launched this annual industry evaluation in 2010. “This recognition extends far beyond an industry accolade,” said Amar Urhekar, President of McCann Health Americas. “It’s evidence that McCann Health New Jersey is a bona fide first-class agency that knows how to deeply listen to what matters most to its people, integrating what their people value into their culture. This industry accolade is reflective of what we already knew to be true, evidenced by employees who have been part of the McCann Health family for years, and the longevity of clients who have been with us for over a decade. It is fantastic to see our culture recognized by Ad Age.” McCann Health New Jersey, which this year is marking its 40th anniversary in its Parsippany headquarters, is a full-service healthcare communications agency connecting with healthcare professionals and patients through a range of platforms that includes print and interactive media. It is led by Marcia Goddard, President, and also includes an office in San Francisco that embodies the same winning corporate culture. “When you visit McCann Health New Jersey, you can feel our spirit and passion when simply walking through our halls, attending one of our all-staff meetings, partaking in our Volunteer Time Off, sitting in on a hack session, and so much more. Most importantly, I am so proud to see our people – courageous creators of truly amazing things – celebrated though this recognition,” said Marcia Goddard, President, McCann Health New Jersey. In developing the 2019 list, Ad Age partnered with Latitude Research to identify 50 workplaces, 25 with more than 200 employees and the other half with fewer than 25 staffers. This survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors the best employers in the marketing and media industry, benefiting the industry’s economy, workforce and businesses. The selected winners reflect the highest overall numerical scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from employees. There are six key satisfaction areas that are factored into the ranking: employee benefits, company culture, employee development, company environment, employee engagement and employee perks. “We are especially excited about this year’s Ad Age Best Places to Work,” said Roberta Bernstein, Managing Editor, Ad Age. “To ensure that those companies that do right by their employees rose to the top, we brought on a new partner, Latitude Research, to sharpen up the surveys and conduct a deep dive into the key elements that make up a healthy workplace. The results were stunning: A rise in the number of companies with majority-female employees, for instance, and an emphasis on health care, inventive parental leave policies, PTO days and more. Congratulations to those on the list. About Advertising Age About McCann Health About McCann Worldgroup
