PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - November 05, 2007) - Lipid Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: LIPD) today reported financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2007. For the third quarter of 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $3.3 million, or $0.09 per share on a basic and diluted basis. This compares with a net loss of $2.9 million, or $0.10 per share, on a basic and diluted basis, for the same period in 2006. The financial results for the third quarter of 2007 include revenue of $106,000 related to the reimbursement of expenses pursuant to a collaborative research agreement with Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company, to develop immunological products for animal health.
