Wound care company Kinetic Concepts Inc. announces another 300 cuts to its U.S. workforce, bringing the total for the year to more than 425. Kinetic Concepts this week announced that it was planning to cut 300 jobs across the U.S., marking the second round of layoffs this year for the privately owned wound-care giant. That brings KCI’s layoff total for 2012 to more than 425, joining cuts announced earlier this year when the company was looking to re-shape itself after the $6.3 billion buyout in 2011.
