Mobetron is a proprietary, mobile electron-beam instrument designed for Intraoperative Electron Radiation Therapy (IOERT), the direct application of radiation to a tumor while a patient is undergoing cancer surgery. The Mobetron will form an integral component in the Chinese Government’s new initiative to combat lung cancer as well as be used to provide IOERT treatment for a variety of other cancers.
