PLAINSBORO, N.J., April 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq:IART) announced today an in-kind donation of almost $3.0 million worth of neurosurgical medical devices to three CURE International hospitals located in the Dominican Republic, Uganda and Zambia. The hospital in the Dominican Republic serves as a referral center for children with orthopedic disabilities and deformities from all over the country. In Uganda, CURE treats children with conditions such as hydrocephalus, brain tumors and other conditions that require neurosurgical care. The hospital in Zambia cares for children with both orthopedic and neurosurgical conditions.
