Orissa plans to set up several biotechnology parks across the state in collaboration with the private sector to tap its extensive mineral and biological resources, officials here said on Saturday. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by state Science and Technology Minister Rabinarayan Nanda at the secretariat. Biotechnology experts and officials participated in the meeting. The meeting discussed the state’'s potential in biotechnology and ways to explore it, said a top official of the biotechnology department.
