After promising cheap glucometer two years ago, the Indian Council of Medical Research is clueless when the affordable devices would be available in the market.
The ICMR has found a commercial partner to market the device but is not sure when the affordable glucometer will be available with the chemists. The glucometer along with glucose strips will be available over the counter as a cheaper options for the diabetics.
