IBC Life Sciences Kicks Off the Annual BioProcess International(TM) Conference & Exhibition in Long Beach, California

WESTBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - October 31, 2011) - Today IBC kicks off its annual BioProcess International Conference & Exhibition in Long Beach, California. Every year this event brings together bioprocess professionals from all around the world to share cutting-edge advances in the bioprocess development and manufacturing field.

The 2011 conference program features a stellar line up keynote presentations including, the US FDA, EMA, Pfizer, Merck, Roche, Johns Hopkins University and Seattle Genetics. Plus, the program features over 180 presentations from senior executives, including more than 50 presentations with new, previously unpublished data, and new topic coverage areas including antibody drug conjugates, viral clearance and managing global manufacturing facilities and partners.

The conference program runs October 31 - November 4 and is divided into five pre-conference symposiums on Monday, October 31 and 4 main conference tracks that run concurrently on November 1-4. The four conference tracks are: enhancing manufacturing and development efficiency, product lifecycle management, cell culture and recovery & purification. In addition to the four main tracks there is additional programming on analytical technologies, viral clearance and vaccine development & production.

Attendees of BioProcess International will have also access to presentations at the co-located 11th Annual Formulation Strategies for Protein Therapeutics conference on November 1-3. In addition, IBC will be hosting a Speed Networking event on Monday, October 31 and three Bioprocessing Professional Development two day courses starting on Tuesday, November 1.
