Examiner -- Those lucky enough to have landed a job in recent months are faced with a dilemma entry-level employees in years past didn’t encounter—securing their position with their new employer. A recent poll by VitalSmarts, a corporate training and research company, found that most people are doing very little to ensure longevity in their new role. According to the survey, nearly one-in-four people don’t feel comfortable asking their new boss where they stand, so they say and do nothing. And in the case of entry-level employees, they assume they’re safe—the first big mistake of their new career.
