The Virginia Biotechnology Association (VABIO) today announced that Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. of Richmond, Virginia, won the 2011 Virginia Bioscience Company of the Year Award. The award, presented last night at a special reception at the Pfizer Consumer Products Research Laboratory in Richmond, recognizes the biotech or medical device company that has distinguished itself from its peers with strong overall performance and best exemplifies the innovative spirit of the Virginia life sciences community.
