Health Canada In A Battle Over Biolyse Pharma’s Shutdown

Biolyse has many jobs at risk but others are hiring too! Check it out! (Isn’t it tempting?)

May 15, 2014 -- Only a skeleton staff remains at Biolyse Pharma, as its president vows to fight a licence suspension. About 55 of its staff of 60 are on temporary layoff at the St. Catharines company which makes the injectable chemotherapy drug paclitaxel. On April 11, Health Canada pulled the firm’s license citing an inspection since January that showed “significant concerns” in areas such as manufacturing, chemical and microbiological testing and documentation.

Don’t forget, hundreds of biopharma companies are hiring! (We know you can’t resist.)
