WINTER PARK, Fla., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- GENICON, a leader in the laparoscopic surgical instrument field, has signed a number of major international distribution agreements that should significantly increase its global market share.
The agreements were signed after a highly successful week-long familiarization and training course held in Central Florida at the end of March. The 54 participants came from 17 countries, including Australia, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia and the UK, and included surgeons and international distribution partners, as well as U.S. sales representatives.
“While this is not the first time GENICON has held such an event, this year’s program was far and away the most successful both in terms of the caliber and number of participants and the number of international distribution agreements secured,” says Founder, President and CEO Gary Haberland.
“We expect even more agreements to be signed over the next few weeks after the distributors fully evaluate their hands-on experiences during product demonstrations while in Central Florida,” Haberland says.
