SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Genentech, Inc. (NYSE: DNA) today announced the appointment of Morgan Sheng, M.D., Ph.D., to Vice President, Neuroscience, effective September 15, 2008. In this newly created position, Sheng will be responsible for directing neurobiology drug discovery efforts at Genentech and will oversee the department of neurobiology. Sheng will report to Marc Tessier-Lavigne, Ph.D., executive vice president, Research Drug Discovery.
