GE Healthcare announced the acquisition of Unisyn Medical Technologies’ (Golden, CO) Transactional Business segment. While neither company provided details on the financial terms of the agreement, GE Healthcare will gain access to Unisyn’s ultrasound repair segment, enabling it to incorporate new services and products into its imaging division. Unisyn’s Transactional Business segment manufactures technology for diagnosing issues with ultrasound problems. In addition, the company’s technology can be used to repair ultrasound problems in medical settings. The company’s best-known product, FirstCall, is designed to test and repair problems.
