MIAMI, May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaumard(R) Scientific Company (www.gaumard.com) today provided an update on U.S. installations of the Victoria(TM) birthing simulator.
The latest installation sites include:
- Henry Predolin School of Nursing at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin
- PinnacleHealth System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Victoria is a member of the NOELLE® family of maternal and neonatal care simulators. Both Edgewood College and PinnacleHealth System previously had a NOELLE® S575.100 tetherless maternal and neonatal birthing simulator.
John Eggert, Gaumard’s executive vice president, said, “Many of the educators that purchase Victoria are repeat customers. They know we deliver outstanding customer service and offer the most capable simulators in the industry. Our user-friendly UNI operating system always gets high marks from these educators, in part because it’s universal across Gaumard’s entire family of high-fidelity simulators. Not only is upgrading to Victoria seamless, but the UNI system facilitates a clean, wireless-tetherless experience that enables on-site training and allows for realistic movement of Victoria throughout clinical care locations.”
Victoria has a patented, precision life-like delivery and birthing mechanism that births a life-like, full-term baby with sophisticated monitoring capabilities. Gaumard’s complete Victoria system includes comprehensive clinical scenarios, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. With articulating endoskeletons and silky smooth elastomeric skin, Victoria is the most realistic, fully tetherless and wireless maternal/fetal simulator for use in actual point of care training.
