SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., SÃO PAULO, Brazil, June 3, 2009 – Fluidigm Corporation, the inventor of integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs), has appointed Uniscience do Brasil and its partners as its exclusive distributor for the BioMark™ System for Genetic Analysis in Brazil. Fluidigm’s IFCs, instrumentation and software bring significant advantages to researchers and scientists performing real-time and digital PCR, genotyping, single-cell gene expression, copy number variation and absolute quantification for next generation sequencing activities.
Fluidigm’s systems utilize integrated fluidic circuits that contain a microscopic matrix of microfluidic channels, valves and chambers on a rubber chip that can perform thousands of experiments at a time, in a fully flexible format that maximizes sensitivity, reduces costs and provides great reproducibility of results.
