The test allows In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) physicians to identify embryos with normal chromosome make-up prior to transfer to the uterus. The twins, a healthy boy and girl, were born on July 6 as the result of in-vitro fertilization and preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) at La Jolla IVF in San Diego, CA.
