Finding A Job Is People First, Resume Second

Ottawa Business Journal -- In a typical job-search situation, an ad appears; ten or fifty people apply; the powers that be sort through the resumes; they reduce the field down to a workable number; they interview the four or five finalists once, twice or maybe three times. Then they select and hire the winning applicant. When this has been accomplished, the company is elated and so is the winner. Everything is great.
