CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZOLL Medical Corporation (Nasdaq GS: ZOLL), a manufacturer of medical devices and related software solutions, announced today that the Federal Fire Department Hawaii (FFD), based in Pearl Harbor, used training and a ZOLL AutoPulse® Non-invasive Cardiac Support Pump to help save the life of a 37-year-old active Navy service member. The serviceman collapsed during an early morning physical training run on the Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay on Oahu. Only days before the event, the medic unit had undergone additional in-service training on the automated chest compression device.
