OULU, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Biotechnology start-up BioSilta Oy of Oulu, Finland has become a key partner in a European Research Consortium. Nine partners from five countries including three start-up companies and the industry partner DSM will work on new technologies to develop and to use enzymes for the production of high value chemicals. The project was initiated through the ERANET for Industrial Biotechnology and received funding approvals in March 2009.
