CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emulate Inc. today announced an expanded research collaboration with Merck, known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, to deploy Emulate’s Organ-Chips across certain Merck discovery programs to improve models of human inflammatory diseases and better predict the potential human response of therapeutic candidates. The research will focus on using Emulate’s Small Airway Lung-Chip and Intestine-Chip to enable predictive modeling of inflammatory processes in the human lung and the gastrointestinal system.
