Indy Star -- In its latest step to shed jobs, Eli Lilly and Co. is handing over its drug-discovery bioanalytical operations to an outside company, which plans to open a 22,000-square-foot laboratory near Indianapolis International Airport.
Lilly said 26 of its employees will be affected by the move, but all will be eligible to join the outside company, Advion BioServices Inc. The workers analyze how new drugs interact with experimental models in preparation for clinical testing.
