An electronic “nose” device about the size of your TV remote control can sniff out pneumonia and sinus infections by analyzing a patient’s breath, researchers report.Dubbed the Cyranose 320, or the “e-nose,” they hope the device will be especially useful for providing a faster, easier and cheaper way to detect pneumonia -- especially in hospitalized patients -- and sinus problems.
