Doctor’s Guide -- CHICAGO -- October 10, 2010 -- Women who discontinued hormone therapy (HT) are at an increased incidence of hip fracture, with the protective effect of HT disappearing once they have been off the therapy for 2 years, according to a large study presented here on October 8 at the 21st Annual Meeting of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
