DHA Formula Promoted as Baby Brain Booster, Retina Foundation of the Southwest in Dallas Study; Some Say Study Could be a Ploy

SF Gate -- Some breast-feeding experts and advocates suspect a new study is a marketing ploy to encourage parents to feed their infants formula. The study found that infants receiving formula supplemented with the omega-3 fatty acid, DHA, performed better on a cognitive test than infants who were given formula without it.
