WASHINGTON, Aug 16 (Reuters) - U.S. antitrust authorities said on Wednesday they had approved plans by Owens & Minor Inc. (OMI.N: Quote, Profile, Research) to acquire some assets of the acute-care medical and surgical supply distribution business of McKesson Medical-Surgical, a unit of McKesson Corp. (MCK.N: Quote, Profile, Research).
