LabStyle innovations out of Ramat Gan, Israel will soon be releasing a compact glucose meter which partners with your smartphone to display readings and keep a historical record of your blood sugar. The Dario glucometer comes in an all-in-one package that includes a supply of 25 test strips, a built-in lancet, and the actual meter that plugs into the phone’s audio jack. Once inserted and Dario’s app is launched, you slide a test strip into the meter, draw blood, and let the meter suck it down.
