SANTA FE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 30, 2006--CytoDyn, Inc. (OTCBB:CYDY - News) has appointed Jonathan R. Leong, a prominent Asian-American insurance executive from Northern California, to its Board of Directors to fill a vacancy. Mr. Leong has served as a member of the Advisory Panel of the California Earthquake Authority, a Commissioner of the White House Initiative on The Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and was a Founding Member of the National Council of Asian American Business Associations. As President of Emerald Bay Resources, Mr. Leong has led environmental clean-up projects in Mexico and Puerto Rico. His community service activities include being Vice Chair of the National Marrow Donor Program, a member of the California Transportation Systems (CALTRANS) Small Business Advisory Council, and a past Advisory Board Member of the California Small Business Administration.
