VANCOUVER, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - CRH Medical Corporation announced today a major initiative to recruit General Surgeons in the United States to support a significant expansion in the number of Company owned and operated Centers for Colorectal Health.
The success of the existing Centers for Colorectal Health has confirmed the demand for the Company’s proven treatment protocol utilizing its proprietary technology for the treatment of hemorrhoids. Currently, the Company operates Centers in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Atlanta. By year end, the Company expects each of these Centers to be at or very near cash flow positive on a stand alone basis. The new Centers will be developed using the same operating metrics and business model developed by CRH Medical over the course of the last 12 months.
The new initiative is designed to increase revenue and operating efficiencies by adding Centers in several additional cities over the next few quarters. CRH Medical is currently targeting cities across the Western United States including Seattle, Sacramento, Portland, San Diego, St. Louis and Phoenix for its initial phase of expansion. With success, the Company expects to further expand the business model to additional cities throughout the United States.
