Calgary health officials are trying to track down around 2,000 patients who may have received wrong medical information -- and possibly improper treatment -- because of a glitch on an Internet database that doctors use to view lab test results. Dr. Michael Giuffre, president of the Calgary Regional Medical Staff Association, called it “a pure mix-up."He explained on CTV’s Canada AM Tuesday that the glitch resulted in the interface between the lab and the patients’ data no longer coming together.
