Clinical Innovations today announced the hiring of Richard Ji as its new vice president of operations.
Ji, who has more than two decades of operations leadership experience in the medical device industry, will be responsible for strengthening and streamlining operations throughout the Clinical Innovations organization. He was most recently the vice president of catheter solutions for global medical technology company Becton Dickinson.
“Richard’s industry experience and track record of leading teams to tremendous results make him ideally suited to leading Clinical Innovations’ operations as we continue to build and grow,” said Ken Reali, CEO and president. “We’re thrilled to have him on-board and look forward to the positive impact he’ll bring to all aspects of our business.”
An alumnus of Brigham Young University with an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Ji joined Becton Dickinson in 1995 and quickly advanced through the company’s ranks in roles overseeing manufacturing, research, quality and supply chain. Noted for driving growth and efficiency, Ji held positions throughout the U.S. and overseas and, in his most recent role, oversaw an $800 million business with more than 1,200 employees.
“Clinical Innovations is a strong organization with a smart growth strategy and the results to show for it,” said Ji. “I’m honored to join such a talented team and look forward to accelerating those gains.”
