NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clinical Data, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDA) announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 3,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $22.00 per share. All of the shares are being offered by Clinical Data pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. is acting as sole book-running manager of the offering and Lazard Capital Markets LLC is acting as co-manager. In connection with this offering, Clinical Data granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any. The offering is expected to close on or about July 23, 2007, subject to customary conditions.
