MedPageToday -- BOSTON -- Male circumcision cuts the risk of genital ulcer disease, but not herpes simplex-2, a researcher said here. The finding comes from a randomized controlled trial in Kisumu, Kenya, one of the three trials that found that circumcision protects against HIV infection in heterosexual men, according to Supriya Mehta, PhD, of the University of Illinois Chicago.
