January 25, 2008 -- Venture capital investing in China hit new records in 2007. Altogether, venture capitalists put $3.25 billion to work, a jump of 83% over 2006, which held the previous record. Bio/healthcare investing participated in the general trend. The sector garnered $409 million in new VC money, 12.6% of the total invested.
