Chemicals Giant DuPont To Cut 1,500 Jobs, Mostly In Europe

WILMINGTON, United States (AFP) - US chemicals giant Dupont announced it was cutting about 1,500 jobs, mostly in Europe, under a restructuring plan that aims to save 165 million dollars. The company said it was closing four manufacturing and laboratory facilities in Europe: two in Spain, one in the Netherlands and another in Germany.
