A recently filed lawsuit in a Canadian court represents a growing class of people who have suffered severe pain and serious injuries after receiving the Wright Medical Technology Profemur hip implant. According to a report from The Chronicle Herald, an attorney in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has filed a lawsuit on behalf of residents of the province who’ve been injured after having the defective hip joint implanted. At least 10 people have joined the recently filed lawsuit, according to the report, but the newspaper also interviewed a Nova Scotia man who has not yet joined that lawsuit.
