WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- CAD Sciences, the technology leader in MRI CAD for breast, prostate and other organs, was one of three CAD companies invited to participate in a conference sponsored by the U.K. Study Group on MRI Screening for Breast Cancer (MARIBS) held on May 25 at The Royal College of Radiology in London. The meeting was attended by a delegation of physicians and scientific luminaries from the United Kingdom whose primary goal was to make recommendations for optimal imaging protocols to be used when performing breast screening MR examinations. It offered the Company the ability not only to contribute to a panel discussion on the standard of care for women’s imaging but to frame the initial dialogue regarding the appropriate CAD system to be used for the evaluation of breast MRI. According to Andreas Muehler, M.D., President of CAD Sciences, “The invitation to the meeting confirms that CAD Sciences’ analysis algorithms are increasingly seen as an integral part of a comprehensive breast MRI procedure. The meeting also served as a great opportunity to convincingly present the advantages of CAD Sciences’ fTP technology over the limited capabilities of first generation breast MRI CAD systems.”
