Breakthrough: Miracle Drug Discovered For Autism? University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre Study Reveals

A five week treatment with the synthetic hormone oxytocin can significantly improve social, emotional and behavioural issues among young children with autism, scientists have found.

The study, led by researchers at the University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre in Australia, is thought to be the first evidence of a medical treatment for social impairments in children with autism.
