Brain Cooling Device Maker BeneChill Files For A $14 Million IPO

BeneChill, a medical device that delivers cooling to the brain following a brain injury, filed on Tuesday with the SEC to raise up to $14 million in an initial public offering.

The San Diego, CA-based company, which was founded in 2003 and booked $1 million in sales for the 12 months ended September 30, 2014, plans to list on the NYSE MKT under the symbol BNCH. BeneChill initially filed confidentially on October 24, 2014. Dawson James is the sole bookrunner on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
