A persistent problem with brushing one’s teeth is the very act of brushing, which takes time, effort, and attention to detail to do it properly. But an upcoming product called Blizzident may change completely the way we brush our teeth. Looking like a dental guard, the device has thousands of bristles positioned so that when the wearer chews on it, the bristles work to clean the teeth and massage the gums, all in about six seconds. Each Blizzident is created uniquely from a patient’s dental impressions so that the bristles are positioned most effectively to work on the user’s teeth.
