July 17, 2007 – Salt Lake City, Utah –BioMicro® Systems, a market leader in microarray hybridization products, today announced that it has been awarded U.S. Patent 7,235,400 which the company refers to as the “MAUI® Mixer Patent.” The MAUI Mixer Patent was awarded to the company for the invention of a laminated, ultra-low volume (10-40 microliters), microarray hybridization chamber, which allows simultaneous processing of one or multiple microarray(s) on a single glass substrate.
