HANNOVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following its successful premiere in 2008, the Biomanufacturing Symposium will be making a repeat appearance at this year’s BIOTECHNICA. Targeted specifically at developers and manufacturers, this one-day event will provide an effective framework for communication between the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. The Symposium will be organized by Capgemini Consulting in collaboration with Deutsche Messe, Hannover. In a series of brief lectures leading experts will address current biomanufacturing issues and discuss potential solutions with the attendees. In 2009 the focus will be on the following topics: collaboration between drug developers and manufacturers; the importance of process validation in the early stages of development; and special factors relating to the development of biosimilars.
