(Nasdaq:BFRM) today announced its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, which is the Company’s third quarter of fiscal 2009. Net sales were $15.0 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as compared to $17.0 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. The net loss was $3.6 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as compared to a net loss of $4.5 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. Net sales for the nine months ended March 31, 2009 were $47.3 million as compared to $50.8 million for the nine months ended March 31, 2008. The net loss was $19.2 million for the nine months ended March 31, 2009 as compared to a net loss of $9.5 million for the nine months ended March 31, 2008. The net loss for the nine months ended March 31, 2009 includes non-recurring charges related to our cost reduction plan announced in November 2008.
