RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., May 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:BCRX) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2014.
“We have completed enrollment in the OPuS-1 Phase 2 trial to evaluate orally-administered BCX4161 in patients with hereditary angioedema and we look forward to reporting results from this proof of concept trial by the end of June,” said Jon P. Stonehouse, President & Chief Executive Officer. “In addition, we continue to advance our 2nd generation oral kallikrein inhibitors with a goal of initiating clinical trials during the first half of 2015.”
