All of the shares are being offered by BioCryst pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. BioCryst has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 750,000 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Morgan Stanley is acting as the sole book-runner for the offering, with JMP Securities and Oppenheimer & Co. acting as co-managers. The offering is expected to close on November 25, 2009.
