WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) today announced six companies have joined the Industrial & Environmental Section in the past year. The announcement was made following BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section member meeting and election of governing board officers at the 2016 BIO International Convention in San Francisco. The new members include both established and start-up renewable chemical producers, biotechnology services companies, biobased product manufacturers, and advanced biofuel developers. BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section includes 76 member companies.
