Bio-Tissue Appoints Andy Wasserman as VP of Sales & Marketing

Miami, January 5, 2009: Bio-Tissue, the leader in ocular surface tissue therapies, today announced the expansion of their management team with the appointment of Andy Wasserman as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Leveraging over 15 years of sales leadership experience, Andy will oversee the sales and marketing efforts by leading sales management, product development and promotion initiatives for Bio-Tissue’s emerging technology.

Prior to joining Bio-Tissue, Andy was the National Sales Manager for OptiMedica, Inc., where he was responsible for the successful launch of the company’s pattern scanning laser technology for the treatment of retinal diseases. Previously, Andy held sales and sales management positions at several prestigious ophthalmic companies, including: Lumenis, Inc./Coherent Medical Group and Storz Ophthalmics (a division of Bausch and Lomb).
