ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bausch & Lomb (NYSE:BOL) today reported preliminary and unaudited financial data for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007. Due to the significant time and effort involved in completing the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for 2006 (filed on April 25, 2007), the compilation and review of first-quarter financial results has not been finalized. As a result, Bausch & Lomb is filing a Form 12b-25 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, indicating that it will be unable to file timely its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the first quarter that was otherwise due on May 10, 2007. The Company expects to file the first quarter 10-Q by June 10, 2007.
