March 25, 2013 -- Effective immediately, or as existing contracts permit, BASF is raising
its prices for N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) in Europe by 30 € per
ton or by the equivalent amount in local currency.
DMF is a versatile organic solvent that is miscible with water and many other solvents. DMF is used in various industrial applications, for example in the production of pharmaceuticals, fibers, resins and agrochemicals. BASF produces DMF at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany and Nanjing, China.
