In this role, Dr. Leviss will be involved in customer and end-user engagements, sales initiatives and will be responsible for spearheading Sentillion’s activities in community-based and national healthcare information initiatives in the United States and Canada.

Prior to Sentillion, Dr. Leviss, was a senior manager in the Deloitte Consulting Healthcare Practice, where he served as a strategy and operations consultant focusing on medical informatics, clinical transformation, and executive physician leadership to hospital, vendor, and insurance company clients. His medical informatics leadership experience includes serving as the Director of Medical Informatics at Bellevue Hospital, a large, academic New York City hospital, and as Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation, the largest US municipal hospital system. Dr. Leviss also was a Physician Executive with Cerner Corporation, consulting on clinical information system implementation and clinical transformation. He has used advanced information technologies in direct clinical care, including computerized physician order entry and clinical documentation, for over 10 years and still practices as a primary care internist. Dr. Leviss has held faculty positions at the NYU School of Medicine and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, has co-authored papers in several peer-reviewed academic medical journals, and frequently presents at academic and industry conferences and forums.
